Elevate & Extend Your Treatment Results: The Essential Pre & post Treatment Skincare Guide

Elevate & Extend Your Treatment Results

The Essential Pre & Post-Treatment Skincare Guide

Whether you've invested in injectables, microneedling, lasers or peels, or you are thinking about dipping your toes (or face, neck, chest) that next level facial treatment- one thing is for sure, the right pre & post-procedure regimen is the essential to enhancing results, minimizing downtime, and preserving the integrity of your skin.

Before you begin...

To ensure the best results proper skin preparation is essential. Start by scheduling a facial with your esthetician about one month before your enhancement procedure. This allows your skin to be professionally assessed, deeply cleansed, and balanced, creating an ideal foundation for more intensive treatments. In the weeks leading up to your appointment, your esthetician will help you prepare your skin with a tailored regimen that improves your skin barrier, increases hydration and stregthens your skin for your procedure. You will also be asked to avoids harsh exfoliants, active ingredients like retinol, and excessive sun exposure. It's important to remember, healthy, calm, and well-prepped skin responds better to advanced treatments and recovers more quickly.

product & I may never go back." -Amy

When it comes to pre- and post-treatment skincare, Epicutis Lipid Serum has completely changed the game for me... and my clients. Formulated with patented TSC, a powerful anti-inflammatory compound, this serum works to calm redness, ease irritation, and strengthen the skin barrier at a cellular level., without silicone. I love that Epicutis is non-toxic, minimally processed with simple ingredients, and it works! Clinically tested to help prep the skin, dramatically reduce sensitivity and ensure a smooth recovery, I now recommend it before microneedling, chemical peels, or laser treatments. It's also great for titrating acids into your skincare routine, for rosacea and sensitive skin, and sunburns.

Proper skincare after your treatment is critical to your recovery & results.

Equally important is knowing what to avoid. Retinoids, exfoliating acids, and aggressive actives should be set aside for at least a week, allowing the skin to fully recover without unnecessary irritation. Opt in for a Gentle Cleanser, Epicutis Lipid Serum or Alastin Skin Nectar and a nourishing Moisturizer. And, don't skip on the sunscreen!  Supporting this phase with LED Light Therapy like with Dr. Dennis Gross home LED Mask to further accelerate healing, reducing inflammation and stimulate collagen production for an even, refined complexion.

Once the initial recovery period has passed a hydrating facial three to four weeks post-procedure restores moisture balance, soothes residual sensitivity, and reinforces the skin barrier.

By approaching post-treatment skincare with intention, you not only protect your investment but maximize its impact, ensuring that your skin remains vibrant, healthy, and beautifully maintained long after your treatment.
